I'm thinking about taking the Intro to the Modern Middle East exam and the factsheet shows a passing score of 400 but forum feedback as recent as two months ago still shows the old scores.
They've been moving to the new scoring for a few years now. From what I can see in the latest revision of their scoring guide (dated 3/2014) they've completed the exams listed on this guide: http://getcollegecredit.com/assets/pdf/D...coring.pdf
Middle East was one that was left behind during these updates a few years ago (see http://getcollegecredit.com/images/uploa...100108.pdf) but they may have finally changed it. If they did, then it means your passing score is based on a percentage of questions correct rather than the CLEP style of referencing the scores to students of various letter grades.
They must have completed this exam just after they published their last scoring guides. ACE still shows it under the old scoring and also lists it as expired (ended 12/31/2013 according to http://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseactio...ICE=300162).
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
