You might first contact the bursar direct to see if they could reinstate enrollment under your existing catalog.
I would definitely take a course to balance the GPA; unfortunately you will have to shoot for an A or it's not going to make a considerable differnece. Depending on your skillset I would recommend living in the information age or liberal arts math.
