I pulled an advising sheet from your CC.

You need:

WR121 (3 cr)
and
College Math CLEP = MTH105 (4 cr)

Your tuition rate is $92, so you're looking at $276 tuition and $100 for the CLEP = $376

So as you can see, there's no reason to go elsewhere for your AA.

Right - if that's the case, then he should absolutely finish the AA from there, by taking a CLEP in English or do the WR121 course and do a CLEP in College Mathematics, then look into doing a bachelors at COSC or TESC or Excelsior.

It seems that they don't accept CLEP for English which is pretty dumb, but I would recommend that you speak to your advisor/registrar and see if they can make an exception for you given how many credits you've done. Otherwise you'll have to be pay like $315 for the course (at lease PCC is cheap!). If you can take a CLEP in English you'll get 6 credits and it'll cost you a total of $100 plus spare you the agony of doing a 3.5 month course doing essays, hw assignments, projects, and other blarney.
