Significant differences potentially. While you cannot use FAFSA for credit by exam, there are techniques to use it judiciously and fund your education. I would apply and see if you would receive a grant or not....then, if you do, we can try to help you maximize that. Finishing my BS at COSC was essentially free, though I had to complete a consortium agreement with them and CSU-Pueblo, and take a full course load (though it was fully asynchronous and completely self paced).
