CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Lit. Does TESC require the essay?

Hi there,

I've scheduled my CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Lit for the 28th. I was under the impression that this would be a pretty easy test to take, no studying but then I read on the CLEP website says that some colleges require the Essay portion.... Does TESC require it? If so is it optional as in if you opt out you only get 3 credits or is it all or nothing?

I can't seem to find it anywhere.
