There wasn't when I was doing it. With fill-in-the-blank, it's asking me for something I don't know, so I can't fill it in. It's frustrating for me. Again, my brain doesn't work like that.

Yes, I realize that it will give you the answer if you don't know, but that's not the context I'm looking for. I mean that I need to learn the subject in a more straightforward manner, walking through it all. THEN I can use flashcards. But they just don't work for me to learn new material. I find that if I don't know the answer, and I get it to show me, the next time I go through the cards, I get the SAME questions wrong. Over and over again. But if I know the material well, and I use the flashcards, then I can think a little and get the answers right most of the time. It actually helps then.

I was talking about the explanations that come with the flashcards and how they are organized, but I understand. However, I felt this way with the Sophia videos. They're disjointed and not very detailed. For a subject like microeconomics, I felt a strong urge to find a textbook. Plus, it was hard for me to pay attention to the videos because they were so boring and tedious. I'm faster at scanning textbooks and finding the parts I need to thoroughly read. The flashcards also work for me because I prefer reading text over auditory and visual explanations. I miss bits and pieces because I zone out.
