It's fine for future students. It's more expensive than the old Per Credit Tuition Plan, but cheaper than the Enrolled Options Plan. It doesn't help me because I'm almost finished with my degree and don't have $2,000 to give them. I only have six credits toward the residency requirement now and am registered for nine more to put me at 15. Even if they drop the residency requirement down to 16 credits for me, I will still have to pay $499 for a 1-credit course, which is more expensive than taking three more TECEPs.
I just got off the phone, and they said that my residency requirement will go down to 16, but I'm still not happy about having to register for a 1-credit course. It's too late for me to register for a 1-credit TECEP and have it count.
