You are truly an inspiration. Where do I start? Your ability to network, when it's out of your comfort zone is incredible. For those of us for whom it doesn't come naturally, your postings give us hope. Your flexibility is impressive. Does a green belt help me? Can I obtain it in the most beneficial manner for me? Nope? Okay, put that goal aside for now, and reassess. Your ability to reflect is heartening. I'm in a job that is not a good place for me. Do I complain and moan about it? No, I'm grateful that it allows me to be there for my mother. It helps me learn what I DON'T want to do. It adds to my resume.
Gosh. You are SO grown up. Keep up the good work, and keep posting.
As for the nervousness at work? It's understandable that someone as capable as you are uncomfortable not being the "go to" person. Use it. You are seeing this organization with new eyes. What can you do to help the organization that more experienced workers might overlook?
