New TESU Residency Requirement!!! 16cr, TECEP's do not count?!?

So they redirected my ticket to the Learner Support Centre...
"The new clarification is that any student using the Per Credit Tuition Plan (PCTP) who registers for a TECEP or PLA for the May 2016 term will have those credits counted towards their residency requirement."

If I talked to my academic advisor and I have in an email form, proof that she said that my TECEPs will count toward my residency requirement if I take them in the April and May term, do I need to talk to the registrar or would that email hold up if I have to send a complaint to TESU later?

+1 Yes, now that I have proofs from the LSC and the Advising department that all May term TECEP credits will count towards the residency, will these proofs stand should the Registrar decide to say otherwise later?
