The situations when it's worth it to take a course twice:

1) When grad school requires a prerequisite course that is within the past x years.
2) When you need brand new credits in the area of study for a 2nd bachelor's degree subsequent to the last degree earned.
3) When the school denies your credits because they're too old.
4) When you need credits in a more portable form like CLEP, AP, or a course at a RA school.

And remember, a 70% from ALEKS is no guarantee that you'll pass a course/exam from another source, especially if you used unauthorized aids during the assessment.
