I agree that most schools other than the Big 3, WGU, Patten etc. would be more receptive to College Board transcripts vs. ACE.

In my case, however, I took the AP exams between 2010 and 2013 before I was looking at the Big 3. The fee for an AP transcript is $15, plus an additional $25 if your last exam was 4+ years ago. According to the person I spoke to on the phone, since my last exam was 2013 I do not need to pay the extra fee.
