My Journey from Dead End Job to Success

I left my old company because they would not promote me no matter how well I did and just kept demanding more. I watched as upper management did the exact opposite of what my own strategic planning would have accomplished...and good managers left, accounts were lost...and kneejerk fixes were implemented instead of integrated cross functional improvements.

This describes exactly my current situation at the company I'm in.

They tend to make changes out of defensive positions which in turn are knee jerk reactions that from an operational standpoint make absolutely no sense. When if they were proactive, they could actually run a more efficient operating company.

I've given up on providing any sort of feedback as it will fall on deaf ears.

What motivated me to complete my BSBA is to give myself other opportunities in a different career field at a company that is open to feedback that will help the company.

I'm still debating on MBA or not, the progress you made at WGU is impressive in such a short period of time, actually motivates me to look into the MBA at WGU. I guess we shall see... Anyways for what its worth, thank you for being an inspiration. At 35 years old it appears that I will finally be achieving my dream of getting a bachelors degree in Business Admin. and graduate in September.
