I could call people "stupid" for getting degrees just to get a "job", vs opening up their own business. I point out that it is generally better to own and control a resource than to "borrow" it in terms of profit, but when I tell folks that, they generally look at me like I'm an alien. I don't call them "stupid" though. I simply understand that they are "unaware" of any other way to live. Our entire system of a country is designed to raise up "inputs" to our economy. Employee inputs. Non owners. Even the budding Entrepreneurial Ecosystem/Industry is designed to reduce Entrepreneur *ownership* stake as much as possible, and increase the likelihood to sell a profitable venture to a "Big Firm" who can no longer organically grow efficiently. Sure, you get a big pay out, but you no longer own or control the asset.
Bottom line, there is no need for elitism on a forum based around education and learning. We are here to grow, not put down others.
WoW. You really took that personal to an effect.
I'm not putting down anyone on this forum, what I'm explaining to you is why go to a for profit vs. community college, if it is cheaper?
Your response is because they don't know better? Well why is that? Don't they know how to question the schools program and credentials and accreditation and teaching for that matter?
I totally feel you misconstrued my post which is fine everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
What I stated is like the people in that article in the spokane review, why did they WILLINGLY CHOOSE to go into DEBT. Cause they didn't have a higher intelligence? That's total B.S. Your response is cause they weren't aware? So they didn't know a college across town had the same programs for 70% less with better QUALITY teaching? Huh?
