If you switch to SocSci, then the Lit course won't count in that area (it's a HUM, not a SOCSCI), so you might need to take a couple more SocSci courses? You need 18cr of SocSci.
I personally don't know that it matters, and I wouldn't spend the time on it, but that's just me. You probably need to look at the jobs you want, and see what kind of degree they require. If it specifically says SocSci, then you should get it. But if they don't care, then you shouldn't either.
