I wouldn't suggest you start your MBA and reverse transfer these courses if possible toward a second degree. Kill two birds with one stone.
I feel HR people sometimes are highly irrational people.

That's a very good suggestion.
But again I question the premise - why would a company value a second degree in a completely different field over an MBA? That just honestly doesn't make ANY sense!
