I had a thread detailing the process, but it's probably difficult to find since it's on the old forum. You apply to CSU Global as a non-degree-seeking student. If you contact admissions, they'll likely give you a code to waive the application fee. You'll be assigned an advisor who you can ask to add you to a CBE. Then, you study for the CBE at your own pace. A lot of the information you need is available for free in the course shell they'll put you in. There will also be a recommended textbook. I didn't use a textbook for most of the exams I took, but some people may need to use one. Once you feel that you're ready to test, you pay the $250 fee and schedule your exam through their online proctoring service.
