I'm attaching a slightly updated spreadsheet for anyone following along, or for those who are looking for the right mix of UL/LL classes to complete a TESU BS Psych degree in 2018.
I switched from Study.com's MAT-97 to TESU's TECEP Liberal Arts Math because (and I'm embarrassed to say this), I was actually struggling with the Study.com class. In looking at the sample questions from the TECEP, it appears to be more aligned with my current math skills, so for better or worse, I'm moving in that direction.
Since that opened up another Study.com class option (I've prepaid for classes through June) I switched History and Systems of Psychology from Coopersmith to Study.com. (I have a meeting with a TESU advisor this week to confirm that all of my remaining classes will transfer in as expected. If anything will NOT, I'll report back here.)
I'd like to also take Research Methods in Psychology at Study.com, but it will come in as LL through them, and that would leave me with 27 UL credits in my overall degree program - one UL class short. So I'll stick with the UExcel option for myself, but for others, know that the LL Study.com course might be an option for you.
I've just registered for the TECEP math exam. I'm not quite sure how it all works, but it "starts" on 4/2/18, so I'm assuming that the syllabus, recommended texts, etc., will be made available to me by that time.
I'm going to attempt to maneuver things so that Ethics in the Social Sciences is the very last course I take. I'll do this in the hope that, by that time, Study.com's version will be approved as a direct equivalent. By my current estimations, I'll have to register for the TESU version no later than August for a December graduation, so fingers crossed that Study.com's gets approved by then!
Otherwise, we're rolling right along.
