I got back the results of my Academic Evaluation.
I got 6 credits for passing the AP English Language and Composition exam with a 3/5. It came in as 3 credits for ENC-101 (English Composition I) and 3 credits for ENC-102 (English Composition II) under the A. Intellectual & Practical Skills section (Written Communication).
I got 3 credits for passing the AP Psychology exam with a 4/5. It came in as PSY-101 (Introduction to Psychology) under the C. Knowledge of Human Cultures section.
Both of my community college classes of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and Medical Terminology and Speech gave me 3 credits each under the IV. Electives section.
I sent in the proper documentation for my phlebotomy license but there is a note in my evaluation that says they do not give credit for that. My electives section is already filled up so I don't mind but here is the note regarding that for anyone in the future.
"The University cannot award credit for the professional training programs completed through the institutions listed below.
National Healthcare Association- Certified Phlebtotmy Technician
The programs have not been evaluated for academic credit through the American Council on Education (ACE), the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) or through the TESU Office for the Assessment of Professional and Workplace Learning (OAPWL). The Portfolio Assessment (PA) method of earning credit and/or the Thomas Edison State University Testing Program (TECEP) could be considered for the knowledge gained through the completion of these courses. Please visit the University website to learn more about these processes. You may also obtain information about the PA and TECEP programs in the Undergraduate Registration Bulletin."
