American University's first black female student body president won a lawsuit against neo-nazis terrorizing her online. She was awarded $725,000, but the harassment hasn't stopped, and she's living with PTSD.
There were displays of racism on campus with bananas being hung around that had the letters of the president's black sorority written on them. However, it appears that most of the harassment stemmed from the founder of a white supremacist website asking his followers to troll her.
