Enrollment only shows two people total so the chance that the one other person is on this forum is slim. The class appears to be broken with an error message for the first lesson. I have emailed Cody and Señora Mendes about it. Hopefully, it gets corrected quickly.
Even though I know I am already conversational in Spanish, it is the only class that I was nervous about so a glitch does not help ease my nerves. The final looks like something I could pass right now easily, so I need to chill about it.
I have SPA 102, HUM 103, and ENG 121 as my last three classes. All of them are up for me now (if not quite working smoothly). It feels like I am taking stuff out of order but many of the UL I needed were only available 1st term. It is the final stretch.
UMPI and Strut are having technical difficulties today. There have been several issues with courses today. This is not normally what happens. It's probably a hiccup on the Strut side of things. Cody has sent out some emails today about the issues. Don't let this snag drag you down. It should be fixed today. You should have another class open to you as well that you can start. You're not taking things out of order. As a transfer student, you take classes when they're available. Some UL courses have prereqs so you're even more limited with those and they can be tricky. Be happy you have a few easy courses left as your final courses. I have one right now that is a paper and 12 minute PowerPoint presentation and I'm like YIKES! LOL
The SPA 102 issue is unrelated to the earlier issues in the day. The class is missing a part and causing an error. Cody is looking into it now. Edit: It is fixed now.
The "out of order" was meant more in jest than anything else. Except for SPA 102, I could probably have argued for credit for both HUM 103 and ENG 121 from transfer credits but they seemed like an easy way to fill in the 10 classes. All three of my classes are already live.
The light workload in these classes is a nice respite from all the History/Poli Sci last term. I don't think all the work from all three added together is as much as one of some History classes. I don't really mind the big PowerPoint projects, but I think being a graphic designer/content creator makes me put way more effort into making them look good than they need to be.
