Also my job reimbursement is $250/hr. Which the credits via regents is exactly $250/hr. So it's essentially free. The won't cover UMPI because it's not a Credit hour charge sigh. Same with WGU.

That's a HUGE bummer! It's great that they offer tuition assistance though. I'm guessing you're in WV and that's why the RBA is appealing?

Right! And they only cover $2500 a year..Which isn't much compared to most school cost.

Regents Bachelor of Arts. Basically the Bachelors version of the Board of Governors Associates of Applied Science. Based in West Virginia Colleges.

What is a Regent Bachelor of Arts? Is this something the school made up? I have not heard of an RBA before. The bachelor's version of the AAS is typically a BAS which is a Bachelor's of Applied Science. Any particular reason you want an RBA over a BA or BS?

Same reason I did the BOG AAS. Speed. Need the Bachelors for a job promo. Yes the RBA and the BOG AAS are both degrees designed by the West Virginia School system. All West Virginia colleges offer them.

Thanks! Those papers scare me lol. Everyone says how easy they are and then follow up with its just a 16 page paper lol. 16 pages for someone who struggles with writing is scary. I prefer exams/test over writing. Sigh. I guess I'm just a scary mess. Lol. Sorry for the craziness.

If you don't want to write papers, I would recommend Excelsior, COSC, or TESU. You'll be able to avoid most papers that way and use exams for most credits. If you have to take traditional university classes, you probably won't be able to avoid papers.
Thanks. Yeah I'm currently at 91 credits which excelsior will accept 83. I need my UL with them. 30 I believe.

I thought TESU and COSC only let you bring in 90 credits of the 120. I know Excelsior allows 113 and you just have to take the last 7 with them. I thought with the other 2 schools you had to bring in a max of 90 and take the last 30 with them unless I was reading something wrong on their websites. That was kind of the reason I stopped looking at them because I could only bring in 90 and had to take the 30 with them and that 30 with them isn't cheap OR fast. At least with UMPI bringing in only 90 was okay because it was Faster (kinda) and a lot less on the pockets. That was why I was bouncing back and forth between them and Excelsior.

No, I have the Pierpont BOG AAS currently. Well technically I graduate this Friday lol. When I was talking to them they mentioned it a few times, so I figured I would look into it.
