Hello All,
BLUF: Went back to school to support my wife while she finished her undergrad. Completed BA History in 2.5 terms.
After retiring from the military and settling into our forever home, my wife decided to go back to school and finish her undergrad. She is pursuing the BA Mgt & Ldrshp (Name?) and I went for an undergrad in Poli Sci/History with a concentration on History. I was able to finish the 12 classes in 2.5 terms. I submitted my final for my last history class last week and waiting on my degree to be conferred.
As you can tell from my signature block it is not my first degree or CBE degree and I am starting a DBA IFSM on 24 October.
Overall thoughts:
- Application process was very easy and Jessica is superb at her job. All questions answered promptly and very easy to work with.
- The two foreign language classes were easy enough, but I was marked down for using Spanish that was more advanced. However, not that big of a deal.
- All ten history classes were designed in a true CBE / Self-study style. I had zero multple choice exams. All of my classes from Dr. Sebold were usually PowerPoints 20-30 slides with 2,000 word requirement. Dr. Zarboney (poliSci) finals were papers that were 5-8 pages in length.
--Dr Sebold is a phenomenal professor. She really knows her classes and was kind enough to e-mail me to offer career advice and options for Masters in History. I highly recommend her classes.
My wife had 24 classes to complete and has knocked out 14 so far. She is also in the middle of her third term and will finish 2 more before the term ends. It will leave her with 8 Business classes. She has had 4-5 classes that were multiple choice. Not sure which ones.
If anyone has any specific questions feel free to ask.
