I see from the wiki about TESU residency, that "Students who do not take at least 16 of their required 30 RA credits with TESU are subject to paying a residency waiver fee ($3192 as of June 2021)." https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Th...University. I have about 33 credits after I complete ACE and CLEPs credits remaining from finance and CS. Are you saying that if I complete a TECEP, it wont count/lower towards the remaining (33) credits needed to graduate? Also bc of the amount of credits remaining, would that waiver the residency fee? Lastly since the cost of TECEP is based on level and the per credit attemted, would i have to multiply the price by 3? Due to TESU credit per class is 3?
TECEPs count towards required RA credits, they do not count towards 16 residency TESU credits (courses taken at TESU). You're not require to complete 16 TESU credits, but if you don't then you pay the residency waiver. Keep in mind you will have to take at least two course (6 RA credits) at TESU - the cornerstone and capstone course; which is why here you will often see people reference a need to earn 24 RA credits for TESU (24 + the 6 at TESU = 30 total RA). And yes, TECEPs cost per credit it is worth, not per TECEP.
