It is a source of cheap credit that can help you jumpstart into another program. There are some schools that require an X amount of grad credit and ENEB satisfies the requirement. This is a huge source of it's success. In addition, many accreditations like WES Canada and Validential have given it favorable transfer credits. My employer accepted the Validential accreditation.
It is odd to even use the word scam with a school that supported you in earning your doctorate; however, each to their own when it comes to feelings. As for the OP, I would describe ENEB as an opportunity for those who can find lanes (schools) that will accept ENEB degrees for transfer credits, employment, or promotion opportunities. There are several success stories in the larger thread with members who have leveraged ENEB degrees with significant wins.
Overall, my experience with them was what I designed it to be, and that was a resource to gain promotion opportunities and to support my interest in continuing with my academic aspirations. As mentioned, spend some time in the master thread, and you will have a complete understanding of why ENEB has garnered so much interest over the last two years.
