After scouring through the forum for answers to a question unrelated to this thread, I came across the term Level 7/Level 8 Diploma several times. AFAIK Level 8 is doctoral studies so it’s a different story, but Level 7 in the UK OFQUAL system is essentially Master’s level.
So what is the difference between a Level 7 diploma and a postgraduate diploma?
I do see a general trend that universities tend to name their programs “postgraduate diploma”, whereas education providers such as LSIB or Cambridge Management and Leadership School tend to name their programs “level 7 diploma”.
Are there any difference in the two? Are they recognized equally outside the UK?
(I’m not sure if I posted this in the right place, sorry if I didn’t!)
