For anyone planning, we learned that it’s best to apply and get an evaluation first before enrolling so you can complete as many alternative credits as possible. WGU also accepts credits from providers like Sophia Learning and StraighterLine in addition to Study.com. Once enrolled, working with a mentor is key for planning the degree, and you can transfer credits from certifications like AWS. Hope this helps!
That's correct, I highly recommend this as well, get all the alternative credits that can transfer and only take classes that can't be transferred into the degree. There are some degree plans already on the WIKI, furthermore, you want to review partners.wgu.edu as there are other alternative credit providers they accept in addition to what has been mentioned.
