What are the new changes to credit-recommended courses?

[*]Lesson quizzes are optional. You are still encouraged to complete them for practice, but they no longer contribute to the final grade.
[*]Chapter tests are mandatory and will contribute to the final grade. All credit-recommended courses have chapter tests. There is one chapter test for each chapter.
[*]Assessments are shorter. Each chapter test is 15 questions, and the final exam is 50 questions.
[*]There is no mandatory minimum grade required on any chapter test. You can attempt each chapter test a maximum of 3 times and the best score will be used to calculate your final grade.

[*]Grade weighting is more balanced with the final exam worth a maximum of 1/3 of the course grade. Here are the grade breakdowns for different course types:

[*]Courses with chapter tests and a final exam: 2/3 chapter tests + 1/3 final exam
[*]Courses with chapter tests, assignment(s) and a final exam: 1/3 chapter tests + 1/3 assignments + 1/3 final exam
[*]Courses with chapter tests and assignments but no final exam: 1/3 chapter tests + 2/3 assignments
