LAU is in Guyana, which is nowhere near Central America. And while it's in South America geographically, it's an English-speaking country that's a member of Caricom and is culturally is in line with the rest of the English-speaking West Indies, not its Spanish-speaking neighbors. (Not that there's anything wrong with Spanish-speaking countries, of course.)
