The Mental Health Technician Certification would just serve to give me something new to do. I have already done a trauma certification and a grief certification this summer. A certification comes in handy for simple volunteer work, when I would prefer not to reveal all the advanced degrees I have. I am still pursuing more advanced studies at the master's level, but I also like to have a few smaller learning projects going on simultaneously.
