Some graduate programs have highly competitive admissions. But many online programs may have minimum floors e.g., GPA, but after that admissions are not competitive much. They are either not close to filling their maximum student seats or they can easily increase their maximum student seats by quickly adding staff, especially adjuncts. WGU programs are typically this latter type.
