The "university-specific degree" thing just sounded weird considering that you're getting the same Spanish título propio award, not some kind of a different award, as you point out. The transcript and diploma appearance will be different and the hope is that this will provide additional benefits. I am fine with that, although the "one-time opportunity" is also rather odd when you think about it.

It's still a propio yes, but not a certification between an unaccredited private school A and university B like in the past with ENEB/Ui1. UNISEB is presented on their website as a collaboration program. Collaboration is a positive indicator for validation of an education/degree from a partner. 

The degree should now be validated by the university itself. I guess you first receive the UNISEB/ISEB diploma and transcript, and then UI1 will take around 90 days to issue the degree itself.

A big difference is that certification is not the same as validation, and the institution that issues the degree matters. I guess, the first diploma is still a certification (issued by ... and certified by ..) for the creation of 'UNISEB,' while the second diploma, which comes with the degree from UI1, is important for validation.

So why is this a one-time thing, if it's so valuable for graduates?
