Help with Medical TECEP (active student hack)

Hi all,

Just went through the process of registering (and purchasing) the Medical Terminology TECEP for the sole reason of withdrawing (or "dropping", idk which!) and using it to extend my active student status.

I stupidly bought the February 2026 dated TECEP, so I think I have to wait till February now? 

Could anyone give me the concrete steps in how I actually withdraw from a TECEP so that it updates my active student status? It's all a bit confusing with the interdependent areas of myEdison.

Today is 01/21/26. The earliest TECEP you can register is for February.

No, there's a January 2026 TECEP available too.

Just because you can see the January 2026 Term on your TESU self service portal does NOT mean you can register for that term. That is why you do not see the "Register Now" button. How long ago were your last TESU enrollment?
