Joanna, if you took VWO in the past with the A-pakket (languages etc.), you should be fine taking these tests. Remember that they are all multiple choice and you will recognize the answer in most cases.
Great, somebody found a way to get credits for the Dutch exam! The only problem is that it is expensive, $390! Clep costs me $70 for 12 credits of French or German so that worked out better for me!
I am in my thirties so you can imagine it has been a while for me too since I took VWO. Live in Houston now but considering moving back home after I complete my Excelsior degree. Not sure how it's valued in Holland but I guess we'll see!
If you have a VWO diploma, that means you're used to independent thinking and studying and I think you will like the Excelsior system.
