I am sure that someone from instacert will answer this, but let me give you the perspective of the person taking the test. If you are a member of the military you have two options. You can take both the DANTES and CLEP tests at your local ed center. They offer both type of tests, but only paper based. DANTES tests are always paper based.:mad:
However, if you are stationed stateside and can find a Clep testing center and take the computer based version af the CLEP tests. This is my preferred method of taking CLEP's. The local college administers the test, and collects a $15 fee. The other $55 is funded by the government. PLUS
you get instant gratification of recieving your test scores on the spot. Paper based tests take about four weeks for the scores to come in.
