The mail just came in. I received a letter from ETS explaining that they had mis-scored my English Composition CLEP. To add to the ridiculous nature of all this, I took the test in March 2008, almost two years ago. What if I had already graduated? My original score was 65, but they informed me that it was now 64. Not that this change affects my transcript. However, if they send me a couple more letters docking my score 1 point, it will. My question: how in the world can you mis-score an essay? Question 2: how in the world can you notice this 2 years after the fact?
Question 3, of course is: has this happened to you?
Maybe I'm just the lucky guy. Or maybe somebody at ETS just wanted to make my day.
