Great question Don't assume anything at any point along the food chain. Follow up politely with TESC to make sure they received the form, and that the proctor is acceptable. Get an ETA for when the proctor can expect the TECEP. Contact the proctor and let them know when to expect the TECEP. When the proctor doesn't call you because they are too busy, call them to make sure they got the TECEP and schedule your exam.
Immediately after you take the exam, get a commitment from the proctor for when they will send the exam to TESC. Call TESC in a week to make sure they received the TECEP and ask if your grade is ready and when they will send the official results. They will give you the score if you ask.
All of the above is exactly what I had to do with my two TECEP's.
