I went back and read the 3 course below Calculus policy and it does not mention Stats. I was told that Stats is not subject to the policy.
In the end, it worked out the same with 12 credits and a depth. We just didn't realize why that happened for you.
This "new" way would make ALEKS the cheaper option to get all 12 math credits and a depth.
I hope what I am saying is clear. Please let me know if it is not.
So, because its worth 6 credits, it automatically counts as two classes? I wasn't aware of that... Wacky.. Thanks for the clarification on that.
**Edit - Oh, and even through it fulfills a depth, my advisors didn't treat it like that, and kept telling me I still had a depth to fulfill after my Major... Until I told them to use my MIS credits as an AoF... Sigh... I swear, sometimes these advisors... **
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
