Would two associate degrees a few months apart look suspect or "degree millish"? My daughter has completed the requirements for an Associate in Science in Business Administration from TESC plus an additional 12 hours. I plugged those additional 12 hours into the Associate in Arts degree plan & it appears to me she could get that one too at this point (actually she would need to take Technical Writing since both of her Humanities are the same type but other than that it appears to work). For the sake of my question let's go on the premise that she does not go on to a BS but stops with the Associate, although she is young so there is room for a BS later if she chooses. Is it better to have an ASBA that basically indicates the attainment of the education and knowledge level of that degree, period, or is it better to have an ASBA degree plus an Associate in Arts degree since the additional AA degree is available and the work done but are only a few months apart? Lastly, should she ever want to move on to a BA or BS degree but maybe from a B&M college would the AA degree be more transferable as an indication of having the basics of the first two years completed?
A lot here I know. Thanks for listing.
Any thoughts anyone?
