So, in case he isn't successful, how can he get credit for an intro to nursing course suitable as a prerequisite for a BSN program? TESC has an exam for nutrition. There is a DSST exam for nutrition, but I don't know if nursing schools would accept it. And if it acceptable, he'd need to find a school that would post it to an official transcript. The absolute deadline is May 20. The nursing school must receive, process and accept the credit by May 20.
I took the TECEP exam, it's book specific but you can take it anytime. TESC allows non-enrolled to test, but I think it's more money.
