When I came across CollegePlus, I had already started planning my degree though testing. I asked them a number of questions, found out what their services are, found out their price, and decided that I could do it myself and save a few thousand. I would definitely not pay over a thousand dollars for someone to make a plan for my degree, tell me what to do, and contact TESC for me. But that is me personally, that does not mean that they would not be a great help to someone else. Others may benefit from their services or, in fact, need someone to make a plan for them and provide support. I, however, am a do-it-yourself kind of person. I like to do things myself and I love making plans and researching. I am also quite motivated and self-directed. I planned out my degree and worked though it without any help, just a book (College Without Compromise) and the internet, not even this forum until I found it a few months back. I am glad that I did not use CP, but I would have liked to learn about this forum earlier. It is good that there are free, helpful resources and we do not have to pay CP unless we want to.
Now my younger brother wants me to plan his degree for him. Maybe I should start helping people plan their degrees and charge a few hundred dollars! That could be a good business. My entrepreneurial wheels are rolling... wait, I already have too many business ideas... how many businesses can one person run?! Maybe I should wait until I finish my degree, and then only start one business. Hmm... which one?
