Have a student who has completed English 1 and working on English 2. She also wants to take two upper level courses at Study.com but is currently on the lower plan of college starter ($95 mo - $101.27 after taxes/fees)
Found one coupon code via a google search for study.com which would be nice to be able to use if possible.
Is it better for her to pause or cancel subscription and then sign up for the college saver plan and apply coupon code?
any advice welcome

You should stick with the same account. Some coupons are intended for new users only.
Study.com Terms of Service state
Quote:You also agree that you will create, use, and access only one User Account, and you will not access the Site using multiple User Accounts.
There is one Study.com transcript per user account, so all her courses wouldn't post to one transcript, rather to two.

I wasn't sure if pausing would still be charged some amount or if it completely paused it for an indefinite period of time. I also didn't know if cancelling would allow her to re-sign up again at a later time under the same account. Absolutely was not trying to create two accounts. i apologize for lack of clarity in my original post.
She will want to change from starter to saver and from what I see via a google search pausing will allow one to keep the same subscription and she is wanting to change subscription plans.

On the top left of the page when she's logged in there will be a little icon showing a person with a pop-down menu. From that pop-down menu, she can choose Account Settings and change the subscription level for her account. There's no pause involved in changing the subscription level. As a separate option, she could pause the account entirely to take a break.
