I am planning on pursuing a degree from TESU. I still have a few classes I plan to take outside of TESU for my degree. So my questions are as follows:
1. Will TESU accept courses transferred in after one enrolls, or do they have a "last ## of credits have to be taken here" rule?
2. I read another thread that says TESU will "dump" your information if you do not enroll within a year. I am currently a ILA student so what does this mean to me?
3. My intended major has a required course that TESU says will need to be transferred in. Foreign Language BA, one of the major classes is a literature course taught in that language, which is going to be tricky to find. If I do find a source, can this be taken after I am enrolled at TESU? (Similar to #1 above)
4. Can I take CLEPs after enrollment or do they have to be done before? Some schools say they only accept CLEP if done BEFORE enrollment.

I contacted TESU regarding #3 and they said I have to enroll first before they can advise.

One of the benefits of enrolling is that you can lock in your degree plan, which helps protect you from future changes to degree requirements.
TESU is pretty laid-back. You can take your time transferring in courses after you enroll. Just keep paying $50 for a TECEP each year to maintain your enrollment.
Advising is available by email, or you can schedule a call with an adviser.

If I understand correctly, if the degree change is one that is preferable, one can opt to move to the new curriculum?

Yes, you can change your degree whenever you want to, including moving to a newer degree.
