I'm disappointed in Shmoop. There are other threads with complaints about the test questions. I don't think I'm great with literature, but I think I should be at least passing.

I hope you're doing well with American Lit.

So you're trying to any 6 Shmoop Lit courses, no more?

Shmoop is terrible with questions, the often take things from their own text which makes it even harder. They formulate an easy question into a question that you can barely undrstand. I hate shmoop, but it has all the literature courses that I need so that I can get the english degree. I already paid for this month, and thank you.

Yeah. It seems like sometimes things are not in their text at all.

I feel the Bible lit course is better than the others. It's more like their history courses, which seem more fair to me, because the questions aren't so abstract. It still has some of the convoluted questions, but it seems a lot better to me.

This is for teaching abroad? I have looked into teaching foreign students before. It seems like it's best to get a CELTA. Maybe you're doing that too. Just in case you didn't know!

I'm extremely annoyed with shmoop. I checked all my answers and still got an 80%. I don't know what to do, so far I'm averaging 82%. Can someone tell me if you get 80% in your lessons will you still be elegible to pass? Thanks for any replies.

Way to go, that's good work - anything over 80 would be fine, in fact, you must make sure you are over 70% to pass and that's for any ACE recommended course from Shmoop or any other provider for that matter. BTW, just make sure your final score is over 70% total and you're good to go, it doesn't matter if it's 71% or 81%, or 91%, just get it over with as they only come in as a "pass"/"fail"!
