Penn Foster has been a good option for me and I recommend taking some of your General Ed
prerequisites with them. I have taken :
Information Literacy
Music Appreciation
Art Appreciation
Introduction to Literature
Introduction to Sociology
All were ACE approved and approved by Excelsior College.....You do need to keep checking the ACE web site
as this can change from time to time. I am currently studying for American Government Clep and have read all
current posts. If anyone has taken it recently and you haven't posted I would like to hear from you....whether
you passed or not. If you have questions about Penn Foster ...message me :-)

Also, ACE told me that the ACE accreditation is good for 5 years at a time. So a course last reviewed on say 10/10/2010 will still be accredited until atleast 10/10/2015. This helps to know you'll be ok and that the course won't loose accredition the day you finish the course (as would most likely happen to me :p ).

I thought the Art and Music course was completely doable. They didn't require a proctor but Intro to Sociology and Intro to Literature did.
None of these courses were hard and I'm so glad I did it. The rules for the proctor are that they ( the proctor) have to hold at least an associate
degree and can't be a relative, nor in a supervisory position over you. When it is time for you to take the final you have proctor form submitted,
they okay your proctor, mail the proctor the exam, you have to take it within three weeks of proctor receiving it.

What's a PF course cost?
What's the benefit over a cheap RA option?
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

On average seems to be about $225 for a 3 credit course about $75 per credit.

Yeah, Ok, I get that.
They better not have a price increase though!
