A little help understanding TESC

Yenisei Wrote:No, but TECEP exams cost less if you are an enrolled student.

can you only register to take a TECEP if you are currently assigned a myEdison id? (aka paid the $75) I go to the TECEP page but see no place to sign up for the exam.

Sorry for all the questions, Ive really just had a lot of unanswered questions for so long, and now that Ive found this forum I finally feel like Im getting somewhere

If you were a student you could fill out and submit online. Otherwise, the only place I could locate it was on the forms page.

Forms - Thomas Edison State College - acalog ACMSâ„¢

click on the Undergraduate TECEP® Examination Registration Form link
print out the form, fill out and fax or mail

I have no idea how you get the results sent to your school. Here is the main testing number (609) 984-1181. They should be able to instruct you on how to get the results sent to your school.

edit: oops sorry just realized this is for TESC; you just haven't enrolled yet.

much appreciated!

WOW !! I just saw they lowered the price for TECEP exams. They are just $33 per credit for all students. That is a great change. When I took mine they cost the same per credit as course credit.

already have one! Can anyone confirm if TESC requires the exam portion of the TECH WRITING DSST?
#19
No they donot require it on the DSST. I took it for TESC no problem, definitly better then the Tecep with essay.

Excellent news. It's interesting to see some competition for students' dollars.
