ACE Transfer list Questions

1. @Ashkir what class met the PCJ-215 requirement for you, I don't see on in your plan or on the new ACE UMPI list...

2. The new list shows a Success 1001 class from Sophia that I do not see on the website - I was excite not to use up UMPI time on a 1 credit course..

The classes that fill PCJ215 have changed since I and ashkir were doing our degrees last year. You need to go by the new info.

The Success 1001 class maybe an internal class for Strayer or Capella. The parent company of Sophia owners both of those schools and Sophia courses have been developed for those schools specifically.

For anyone interested... College1001 replaced Success1001 at Sophia.

I do see College1001 on the ACE list and it meets GE 4A

You don't need 4A. 4A is completed by the YourPace orientation course. Everyone in YourPace has to take it. It's super short. It doesn't have a  Final Assessment either.

Interesting that UMPI would list the Sophia class on the updated transfer document if its required to be taken at UMPI. Guess I won't have to worry about the class...

It's listed because on campus students would receive transfer credit for it and be waived from taking the class. YourPace students have a completely different orientation course that is 0 credits and is required of everyone. The YourPace orientation is how the learning platform works. You won't find that outside of the learning platform.
