Yeah, if Business Stats will take the place of a CLEP/DSST exam or other course then it's worth it. Can't beat $20 for 3 more credits!

Just FYI ALEKS Business Stats is Operations Management at TESC ONLY for BSBA degrees. For all others it duplicates ALEKS Intro to Stats. So if you are taking the BSBA route you must take Intro to Stats, and if you need an extra business elective this can fill it, but if you are taking a BA or BS then you should only take one of the two.

IrishJohn, You said that you hate math, but are you bad at it? I hate it, and I'm bad at it, and I want a BSBA from TESC in Gen. Mgmt. I'm trembling at the thought of any math. Oh, and how does Trig compare to Pre-Calc. (Either can be used for math at TESC, right?)

Math has always been my worst subject, which is ironic in a way since I use it all the time for work. Of course, I use calculators and various programs but am still dealing with the subject a lot. My eyes usually glaze over and I lose interest rapidly when it comes to math classes. Kind of funny in a way I suppose. As far as I know Trigonometry can be taken instead of Pre-Calc for the BSBA at TESC. I found it to be easier and didn't take me as much time. I actually dropped out of Pre-Calc and switched to Trig when I found this out.

Thanks! If I may, I would strongly suggest Mathway.com or some kind of program to help you get through the course. This was a godsend to me.

I am seriously at the point that I can't see that I'll ever hit 70% on Aleks Stats. I read about people on here who do it in a few days and I think I must be an idiot because I've worked away at this and just can't get it. Congratulations on finishing, I"m jealous!

You not an idiot. Just need to get back into the Math Mix. I used Mathway: Math Problem Solver and some help from tutorcircle.com Both very good math helpers.
