This thread is very interesting. I have been wanting to learn more about New Mexico Junior College, and I've heard about Clovis and Luna, for cheap-per-credit community colleges. I am actually looking for my sister who is interested in government, history, politics, debate.
I saw that classes are $62 per credit for out-of-state residents at NMJC. Does this include all of the fees? And I believe that it mentioned there is an additional cost for online classes...do you know how much online classes are?
Does NMJC accept both CLEP and DSST?

Yeah, it's right around $85 or so/credit up to 12 credits....anuthing over 12 credits is only assessed the fee's of about $45/class though. About a year ago there was a post reference NMJC that someone did 24 credits in a semester 12 in the first 8 weeks, 12 more second 8 weeks. even 1 or 2 extra courses lowers the cost per credit down considerably. Tuition is the same for online, though they do add fee's. Tuition and Fees - New Mexico Junior College (note "max cost for 12 hours or more").

NMJC does take CLEP (22 of them), but seems to want you to take them after enrollment (not 100% sure, but it is indicated). I can't find any indication that they accept DSST. CLEP - New Mexico Junior College
