I have to take this test TOMORROW!
I'm SOOO nervous! I took a practice test on Petersons. I answered 58 questions and got 38 right. I don't feel very prepared. Has anyone else taken this test? Any tips?
Just needing a little advice and reassurance.

If you haven't already, do a good review of literary terms. There's not much more than that you can do between now and tomorrow.
Good luck...let us know how it goes.

I took the same test today and did fine. Just study the literary terms and read over the first clep test in the REA book. It jogged a few memories for me from high school. I'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck.

I took Peterson's tests and averaged between 48 and 51. On the actual test, I got a 63. I think it is average to score higher on the actual CLEP than on Peterson's.
I'm a little slow with answering questions also and did not get to 8 questions on the actual CLEP. My advice is fill EVERY blank in. If you have any questions left and say a minute left, pick a letter (I chose B) and fill in every blank. If you do not do this, you will automatically get them wrong. If you do this and happen to get a couple right, it could be the difference between passing and failing.
If the testing center offers ear plugs, use them to avoid distractions ... or, bring your own.
Try to keep moving on the questions. The passages tend to be long and then there are around 5 questions on the passage. Just try not to take too long for each question.
Good luck! I hope you do well tomorrow.

Analyzing and Interpreting Literature was the first CLEP test i took a couple months ago, and i passed with a 63.
It's pretty much impossible to not pass that test...don't worry or stress about it too much, just calm yourself and review the literary terms in the book and make sure you can understand different types of figuarative language from writing.
Just don't cram or be nervous. You should do well.
I am praying for you, and keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck!!

I found the peterson's tests most helpful for helping me gauge my timing on the test. If you're not running out on time, and scored over 50% on Peterson's, I think you'll be fine.
Good luck, and let us know how you do.

Cleps:
Introduction Business Law 65
Principles of Management 70
Principles of Marketing 71
A&I Literature 68
American Lit 59
Educational Psychology 68
Social sciences & history 65
Western Civilization I 64

I think that, as a rule of thumb, if you pass a Peterson's test or a REA test, then you will certainly pass the actual test. From my experience, the real exam is slightly easier than the prep ones.

HOORAY!!! I Passed today with a 63! Better than I could have ever hoped for. Really, I didn't think I was going to get a score that high. It was SOOO much reading and my nerves were going crazy. I got through with 11 minutes to spare. 6 more credits! Thankyou Jesus!!

I appreciate all your concern and helpful information.
