The graduate program that I want to apply for, for the Fall 2011 semester, accepts applications from Oct until March 31. They require at least a 3.0 on 60 credits, but no GRE, LOR,ect. They require a transcript to be sent to them.
I will be done with all of my requirements for graduation except for the new capstone requirement at Excelsior by Januarary. I will not finish the capstone until Feb or maybe even April.
I will have 60 graded credits and have a higher than required GPA (right now its a 3.9) If I finish in Feb or April, obviously my degree will not be conferred before the application deadline.
What do you think my chances are of being accepted if I haven't actually been set up for graduation, but obviously have 117 credits completed, 60 graded.
They do accept for the Spring semester and those application deadlines are usually April-Oct 31. So I could apply for Spring 2012, I just really wanted to get started sooner rather than later. There is no way for me to finish faster.
Should I just wait and apply for the Spring? WWYD? Any thoughts/input would be appreciated.

Actually, having your bachelor's completely finished before even applying to grad school is odd. That's not how it works traditionally. Traditionally, you'd send all your stuff to the grad schools
months before graduating. I don't think you have a
situation at all. If you don't need an LOR, GRE or SOP (statement of purpose) and you will have all your credits done, except the capstone, by January then apply in January.
So to answer, "
What do you think my chances are of being accepted if I haven't actually been set up for graduation...", I'd say very good.

I agree with Kaz. Students entering into graduate school directly from an undergrad program usually apply during their senior year. I say go for it and apply for fall admission.
